Role of your Lawyer,

Your lawyer should act for you alone Your lawyer should not normally act for sides in a transaction or dispute.

Having a lawyer will give you the peace of mind of knowing that you will get what you are entitled to receive.

Your lawyer’s job is to inform you of your rights and to ensure that they are fully protected at all times.

Your lawyer is responsible for all negotiations on your behalf, and using court if necessary.

If you hire a lawyer, you do not need to meet with the people on the “other side” in a dispute, such as an ICBC adjuster or the other person in a contractual disagreement. In a business deal or personal transaction you may not need to continue dealing personally with the other party, such as the bank or a seller.

As members of a learned profession it is our role to offer advice that is impartial and independent. Our lawyers bring to your affairs the training, depth of knowledge and variety of experience that is expected of the profession.

When you employ us we are committed to looking after your interest in the matter and no one else’s.
